Patricia Glennie

Patrica began her career as a barrister in London, specialising in commercial law. She has family roots in Scotland and in 1991 she and her husband, Angus, purchased Threeburnford, a 500 acre stock farm in the Scottish Borders near Lauder. They moved up with their young family and since then Patricia has been the active partner in running the farm while Angus pursues his legal career in Edinburgh. The farm enterprise presently consists of a commercial flock of 700 ewes and about 40 pedigree Aberdeen Angus cows.

Away from the farm Patricia has held several positions within the farming world including sitting on the Legal and Technical Committee of NFUS and as a Council member of the Aberdeen Angus Society where she chaired the Health Committee. She was also for many years a member of the Children’s Panel in the Borders and was also a member of the Visiting Committee of Polmont Young Offenders Institution. She is also a Trustee and Director of Tweed Forum.
