Brought up on a hill farm in Wester Ross, Mairi has been involved in the Agricultural industry all her life. She manages North Country Cheviot ewes & Luing cattle on her Croft overlooking Lochbroom, a self catering property in Ullapool, and is presently 3 1/2 years into a 5 year term as elected Crofting Commissioner for West Highlands.
