Scottish agricultural charity RSABI is inviting applications for a new Trustee to join its Board.

The charity, which provides emotional, practical and financial support to people working in Scottish agriculture, is looking to appoint an individual with specialist financial knowledge, experience and skills in this key role for the Board.

The new Trustee will play an important role in helping to shape the future of RSABI, with responsibility for contributing to the charity’s governance and strategy and ensuring the organisation continues to be administered effectively.

RSABI is particularly interested in hearing from individuals with specialist financial expertise who are enthusiastic about the charity’s work and keen to volunteer their knowledge and experience to support its mission.

Stephen Young, Chair of RSABI, said: “This is an exciting time to be joining RSABI, and we are looking forward to welcoming a new Trustee who can bring their financial expertise to our Board.

“Our Trustees play an important role in shaping the direction of the charity and ensuring we continue to make a difference to people across Scottish agriculture. We’re looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for RSABI’s work and would like the opportunity to use their skills to help us build on what we do and play an important part in the charity’s next chapter.”

The successful candidate will join the RSABI Board at an important time for the charity, helping to provide financial insight and strategic support as it continues to build on the services it offers to people in need across the Scottish agricultural industry.

Applications should include a CV and covering letter explaining why you would like to join the RSABI Board and the skills and experience you would bring to the role.

The closing date for applications is Monday 2nd November at 5pm. The new Trustee will be co-opted to the Board in December 2026.

Applications and requests for further information about the role should be sent to recruitment@greenburn.co.uk.
