**RSABI Great Glen Challenge 2024 – Terms and Conditions**
**Registration and Consent:**
Individuals or groups interested in participating in the RSABI Great Glen Challenge 2024 must complete the event registration form in full. Please ensure to provide mobile phone and email addresses for all participants.
By registering, you consent to RSABI contacting you independently of the event and receiving news and updates on our work, including information on future events. Full details regarding consent can be found in our privacy statement.
**The Event:**
The Event Organiser reserves the right to make changes to the time, date, start/finish, venue, and format of the event. In the event of cancellation, the Event Organiser holds no liability to the participant.
Entry to the event may be refused to participants who do not adhere to guidelines set out in advance in the event pack.
Participants are expected to comply with the rules, instructions, and terms and conditions outlined herein.
**Liability:**
The Event Organiser (RSABI) has conducted thorough planning to minimize risk and has arranged full indemnity cover for the event with the charity’s insurers, satisfying all partners post a comprehensive event risk assessment.
The Event Organiser shall not be held liable for death or personal injury, loss or damage of equipment, vehicles, IT equipment, phones, etc., as a result of breaches of these terms and conditions.
Participants are expected to be reasonably fit and able to undertake the event. It is the participant’s responsibility to inform the Event Organiser of any changes in circumstances prior to the event.
The event has been authorized by Highland Council and Rockhopper Kayaks provides a full risk assessment for the Kayak event.
**Participant Declaration:**
By entering as part of a team, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
Participants acknowledge the inherent risks involved in the event, including but not limited to accidents, personal injury, loss or damage to property, and weather conditions.
RSABI does not provide insurance for any illness, accident, injury, death, loss, or damage that may occur during the event. Participants are advised to obtain their own insurance as necessary.
Participants shall be responsible for any medical or transport expenses incurred as a result of medical evacuation by a third party.
**Participant Fundraising**
Our charity adheres to the Code of Fundraising Practice, which sets out the responsibilities for fundraising carried out by charitable institutions and third-party fundraisers in the UK. We expect all our fundraisers to follow the code and promote a consistent, high standard of fundraising.
The charity’s preference would be for all donations to be processed using its provided online platform. We would like to remind all fundraisers to ensure that they handle cash safely and securely, and to follow the guidelines set out in the code. We accept no liability for any loss or damage that may occur as a result of fundraising activities carried out on our behalf.
