Lovely to welcome Doreen and Alistair Cormack onto our stand at the Royal Highland Show and to say a massive thanks to the Fife-based couple, pictured here with Margo Wills of our Fundraising team.
The pair have very kindly chosen to donate an incredible £30,000 to support the work of RSABI. The amount is a residual sum from that raised around a decade ago when the farming community rallied behind the couple, well known in the Limousin and Aberdeen-Angus cattle world, to raise funds which supported Doreen to receive treatment for MS. This included travelling to Mexico for pioneering stem cell treatment.
Doreen and Alistair are hugely grateful to all those who supported them and keen the remaining funds went to RSABI to help others in the Scottish agricultural community.
