Tickets are now on sale for a special Farmers’ Choir performance which will take place at the Macdonald Aviemore Resort on Saturday 28th February 2026, raising funds in support of Scottish agricultural charity RSABI and helping Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs (SAYFC) with 50% of net ticket sales going towards their Big Build initiative.
Hosted by Perthshire farmer and comedian Jim Smith, the concert will bring together over 80 choir members from across rural Scotland for an uplifting evening of music, laughter, community spirit and connection. The choir performance will feature a range of well-known cover songs, guaranteed to entertain and lift spirits while raising awareness of RSABI’s work to support people in Scottish agriculture.
Choirmaster Kate Picken MBE, a music teacher from a farm in Dumfries and Galloway, said the choir was delighted to be performing in aid of RSABI and SAYFC.
“We’re thrilled to be bringing The Farmers’ Choir to Aviemore for what we are sure will be a fantastic evening, in support of the vital work RSABI does for the agricultural industry, as well as helping our Young Farmers to build their new permanent home,” said Kate.
“As a choir, we are passionate about promoting good mental health in agriculture, and bringing people together through singing, music, and laughter when the nights are dark is the perfect tonic for lifting spirits.”

The Farmers’ Choir, formed in 2013, has grown into a much-loved part of Scotland’s rural scene, performing at major agricultural events and concerts across the country. The Aviemore performance will continue the choir’s efforts of supporting good causes within the farming community.
The Farmers’ Choir Aviemore concert takes place on Saturday 28th February 2026 at the Macdonald Aviemore Resort, starting at 7:30pm.
Tickets are priced at £25 plus booking fee, with all proceeds after costs split between RSABI and SAYFC’s Big Build, and are available to purchase now at https://bit.ly/FarmersChoirAviemore.

‘The Big Build’ initiative by SAYFC will deliver a new base for Young Farmers in Scotland. This will be a landmark facility located at the Royal Highland Centre, providing three key functions; an event space, an office space, and a heritage space which will double up as a conference area for larger group meetings.
