Regular telephone support

Working in agriculture can be lonely – with many people working longs hours alone. It’s easy to keep things to yourself and let stress and anxiety build up when things aren’t going well. Our helpline team can offer a listening ear to get things off your chest or even just have a blether about the lovely Scottish weather!

Regular telephone support is flexible, and you can have as much or as little contact as you like. We can arrange to call you, or you can call us – whatever is most convenient for you.

The service also extends to current clients or those who were involved in Scottish agriculture but are now retired, unable to work due to illness or disability or are now working in another industry.

The safety of clients are our top priority, that is why if you advise or we suspect that you are driving whilst talking to us we will explain that you should find a safe place to stop and call us back or we will offer to call you back at a more convenient time.
