John McLean is a consultant partner in the family farm of Keillor, which is now run by the next generation.
He is an active volunteer with Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) and also with RSABI.
He has served the local community by being a Special Constable, serving two terms as Chairman of the local School Board, acting as a Trustee during the design and fundraising phases for the Kettins Community Hub, and working as a local coordinator for neighbourhood and farm watch groups.
In 2010, he walked across Scotland from Inverness to Glenelg, raising a large sum of money for NHS heart and mental health projects.
He is also a keen cyclist when time allows.
