Plough On

Plough On is a social initiative supporting men and women of retirement age who are part of the Scottish agricultural community and are keen to be involved in a group of like-minded people from their local area.

Social meetings and the chance to take part in farming-related activities and events will allow you to meet and enjoy the company of others who share similar interests and a shared love of farming.

Ploughing On Certificate

Part of the Ploughing On campaign is to celebrate the contributions made by senior people in Scottish agriculture.  If you would like to nominate a senior person to receive an official certificate from RSABI to recognise and acknowledge their exceptional contributions through long service in farming and crofting please complete this short form: Ploughing On Certificate Nomination Form – Fill in form

Festive Lunches

As part of RSABI's Ploughing On initiative to celebrate the vital contribution of older people in Scottish agriculture, we are hosting a series of Festive Lunches across the country.

Backed by key industry organisations, the campaign aims to highlight the dedication of senior farmers and crofters and farm workers and encourage them to come together and enjoy each other's company, sharing stories and memories over a lovely festive meal.

We are very grateful to the local volunteers who are helping us with organising the Ploughing On lunches and the businesses and organisations who are kindly supporting with sponsorship to help cover costs.

Tickets to our Festive Lunch are free but subject to availability. Please let us know if you have any access, dietary or other requirements and we look forward to welcoming you.
