Penny Montgomerie, currently Chief Executive of the Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs was co-opted in 2011 and then elected to the Board at the AGM the following November.
Penny graduated from SAC in 2001 with a degree in Agriculture, and joined SAYFC in November 2002. In the role of Development Manager she was responsible for overseeing the management of proficiency test service “Scottish Skills Testing Service” as well as undertaking development projects for SAYFC. In June 2009 she became Chief Executive of SAYFC and has been actively involved in work on financial restructuring of the Association and on improved communications. Penny lives on the family farm near Glenrothes in Fife.
